Global Education Day at ISTE 2018

Join us virtually for our 7th annual Global Education Day Meetup at the International Society for Technology in Education Conference (ISTE)! This event will be taking place today (June 24th) from 2 PM - 5 PM CDT (GMT-5).

Here's how you can participate from near or far!

1) Please join our Participate portal to see the full agenda and resources: go.participate.com/global-ed-day-18
2) Consider introducing yourself and sharing global education resources in the discussion threads under the Discuss tab.
3) One of our sponsors is #EdTech4Good and you should also join their community to learn more about their work: http://bit.ly/edtech4good
4) If you have friends who would like to participate remotely, they can also join the aforementioned portals and see portions of our program streamed here: https://www.facebook.com/globaledcon/.
5) Our hashtag is #globaled18. Use this in addition to #ISTE18 to chat about GED and the conference on Twitter!
6) If you are at the ISTE conference and would like to attend in person, show up at Room W184c before 2 PM and ISTE will release unclaimed reservations at 2:05 PM to those waiting in line.

  • The Global Education Conference is a free, online event that takes place around the clock during International Education Week. It is now completed for 2017, but you can view the recorded sessions hereThe call for proposals for our next conference will open on August 1, 2018.
  • Certificates for presenters and volunteers who requested certificates by our deadline are now available in this folder. Additionally, certificates are available for those who played our professional development game and earned at least 300 points.
