Full Session Description (as long as you would like): Today's students need a global awareness in order to compete as well as exist in a global marketplace.  As educators, we need to infuse global issues, events, and ethics into the classroom for discussion so that students have a relevant and practical base of global knowledge.  We are one world and students need exposure and awareness of this interconnectedness.  This presentation will discuss the rationale behind global education as well as demonstrate ways to incorporate global education and encourage student engagement in the classroom.
