My Name and Title: Prof. Massimiliano Minaudo

School Name: Rodari

Area of the World from Which You Will Present: Villabate (PA), Italy

Language in Which You Will Present: Italian, English

Target Audience(s): Teachers

Short Session Description (one line):

The new challenges of school 4.0: how coding can change the learning of all

The idea is to share the experience of some workshops that I have proposed to School where the activities are structured as in a game between multiplayer players who collaborate with each other by making common sense the didactic robotics and coding with the simple means possessed and created with my students, goal: to become a tinker!

Full Session Description (as long as you would like):

The teacher will have to put different objects with recoverable materials to build what the imagination can create without limit!

Every student who is otherwise skillful will also be able to experience collaboration and become a tinkerer without special skills, just curiosity and patience, learning by doing fun from mistakes as well. After having done the practical experience students will pass / return to the theoretical course by overcoming the static teaching. All students need to be involved and participate, no one excluded and coding can be a way to learn and develop creativity, even for those with different abilities.

Please do not submit proposals in an attached document. Follow the directions located in the Call for Proposals here: http://www.globaleducationconference.com/page/call-for-proposals. To edit your proposal, use the OPTIONS button located in the upper right-hand corner of this proposal page.

Thank you,

Lucy Gray

Also,  although educational technology plays a role in our conference, it is not our area of focus. All proposals must have a global aspect and relate to our mission statement: http://www.globaleducationconference.com/notes/The_GEC_Mission_Stat....

Thanks,

Lucy

This still does not use the required format as outlined in the call for proposals. Visit this page and review the directions: http://www.globaleducationconference.com/page/call-for-proposals

See these accepted proposals to see what the format looks like: http://www.globaleducationconference.com/forum/categories/gec-2017-...

Additionally, there must be some evidence of globally connected teaching and learning in your proposal. This is not an educational technology conference! Read our mission: http://www.globaleducationconference.com/notes/The_GEC_Mission_Stat...

I deleted the previous version.

Thank you. This proposal still needs to fit the global theme of our conference. I see no ties to globally connected teaching and learning. See our mission statement: Subject: 2017 Global Education Conference Session Proposal

Hi Massimiliano,

Thanks again for submitting an edited proposal. You need to edit your original proposal by clicking on the OPTIONS button. Please do not put your edited version in the comments.

Also, there must be a global aspect to your proposal. Our conference is not focused on ed tech. Please read our mission carefully and adjust your proposal accordingly: http://www.globaleducationconference.com/notes/The_GEC_Mission_Stat...

Thanks,

Lucy Gray

Last call! If you are planning on editing your proposal and submitting it for review again, please do this by the end of business on Monday, November 6th. Let Lucy Gray at lucy@globaledevents.com know if you make changes and want her to review your proposal again.

Thanks!

OK!

Where is the evidence of globally connected teaching and learning? of global collaboration? There needs to be some global aspect to your presentation. Review our mission: http://www.globaleducationconference.com/page/our-mission

Edits needed to be made IN the original proposal. At this time, this proposal does not relate to our mission.
