Lucy Gray and Steve Hargadon, co-chairs of the Global Education Conference, cordially invite you to a global education meetup in New York City! This will take place on January 28, 2014 from 5 PM to 7 PM (eastern) at AFS' New York Offices.

In 2014, we will celebrate the fifth anniversary of GlobalEdCon, and hope that you can join us for an evening of networking and conversation. Come learn about this free online event and find out how you can participate as an attendee, volunteer, and/or presenter. You'll also have the opportunity to meet other globally minded educators interested in developing classroom connections and projects. Light refreshments will be provided.

Please RSVP here: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/globaledcon-nyc-educator-meet-and-greet-registration-10154705999

If you have questions, please email Lucy Gray at elemenous@gmail.com  We are grateful to our friends at AFS who have generously offered us space for this gathering!

P.S - We also have another meetup planned for current and prospective conference partners on January 27th. If you lead an organization that's interested in serving as a conference partner, consider attending this event as well.
