My understanding is that the student standards are being released at NECC, and that the other standards for admins and teachers will be "refreshed" in the near future after gathering input from various constituencies:

ISTE NETS Refresh Forums at NECC 2007!

Join us for three NETS Refresh events at the 28th annual National Educational Computing Conference. More than 18,000 teachers, technology coordinators, library media specialists, teacher educators, administrators, policy makers, industry representatives, and students from all over the world will gather June 24–27 at the Georgia World Congress Center (GWCC) in the heart of Downtown Atlanta.
