I've always been a huge fan of TEDTalks, excerpts of talks given at this high-end conference that focuses on innovation in technology, entertainment and design. Today I received a notice that an African TED conference has been held and some of the talks given are now published on the TED web site and in iTunes.

Two questions for you:

1) If you've watched or listened to TED podcasts in the past, which ones are your favorites and why?

2) If you were to start a TED like conference for educators, who would you invite to speak? (It's been a pipe dream of mine to see something like this happen... one day perhaps!)

I've wrtiten about TED before in the Infinite Thinking blog before, but I can't help myself from posting again about it. The whole concept gets me jazzed!
