Full Session Description (as long as you would like):

No student ever said they can't use technology as part of their learning because they haven't had professional development.  So what if we put our students in charge of their learning - and put them in charge of their own virtual conference?  In this interactive presentations, students from Marymount School's Student Technology Leadership Team, along with students in the Student Tech Team Network, will discuss the planning of the first ever Global Student Technology Conference, scheduled for June 2015.  Students will address how they sought project partners for planning, developed a conference mission statement and conference strands, sought and obtained sponsorships and developed the premier student project technology showcase. A review of the conference program will also be included.
