Full Session Description (as long as you would like):

This presentation synthesizes Project Based Learning  (PBL), concept based curriculum, and global citizenship education.  The main goal is for participants to acquire an understanding of and approach to successfully use the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDG) as part of the learning experiences they provide their students.  Additionally, participants will have access to resources and a network of globally minded educators to facilitate the development and implementation of PBL and the UN SDG. Participants will further their understanding of global citizenship education and PBL instruction and assessment.  Specifically, three models are used: 1) The World Savvy Global Competence Matrix 2) The Buck Institute PBL Standards and 3) The C3 Inquiry Model.  Exploring these opens the door to a multitude of instructional practices, content, and assessment protocols.

I'm going to accept this proposal, but you may want to edit this and at least once mention the full name of some of your acronyms. For example, when you firsst mention the UN SDGs, you may want to refer to them as the United Nations Sustainbable Development Goals. Keep in mind that not everyone will be familiar with these terms. Many of our attendees are new to these concepts!
