Short Session Description (one line):

Learn how to make interactions between your students and native speakers more productive and less stressful.

Full Session Description (as long as you would like):

If you're a foreign language teacher and you're interested in using (or are using) Skype to connect with native speakers, then this presentation is for you.

You want the conversations to go well, you want your students to feel they're progressing and you want to avoid running around like a human dictionary. I know. I'm a Spanish teacher.

Let me show you a resource that allows students to have access to a cheat sheet while they're talking. And the best part is, you create the cheat sheet! With translations included if so desired.

Is Alcan Publishing a commercial entity?

It was for a book that I published in 2004. However, this is a free resource. Perhaps I should have put my name and school where I teach as the organization.

Hope that helps.

Jim

That works!
