Short Session Description (one line): A global meet-up of educational technologists preparing future teachers to discuss past global collaborations and to brainstorm future international collaborations on curriculum development and comparative projects.

The 100 international educational technologists who collaborated in a research study on the future of technology in education directed by Abdulrahman Al Lily, PhD (Oxford), Assistant Professor of Education, Technology, Society and Organisational Politics, King Faisal University, published at 10.1177/0266666916646415 and other international educational technologists will be invited to discuss a wide-range of topics including

Collaborative and connective technologies used at the university level, Exchanges for faculty and students, Global workforce development,
Higher ed global curriculum design, International conferences and forums, International education program evaluation, Policies as well as financial and legal concerns related to global education at the university level, Professional development around global education, Research opportunities, Summer study programs, Teacher education programs that focus on global competence, University and school partnerships, Comparative studies on international education, Developing globally competent teachers, Ensuring diversity in international education programs, Nurturing global competent university students, On-campus opportunities for internationalization, Practical considerations for higher education international programs, Recruiting and supporting international students, The role of offices of global education in higher education

with the ultimate goal of making global connections for future collaborations, projects, and exchanges. Participants will be encouraged to introduce themselves and suggest ways that we might collaborate and plan for additional global education projects.
