How can educators build their personal global competencies and then apply them in the classroom? In this session, presenters will share different approaches for building our own key global competencies, drawn from the Global Competence Certificate program. One of the presenters—an elementary teacher and graduate of the GCC program—will share examples of how she is building on her experience in the GCC to develop the global competencies of her 4th grade students. There will be plenty of time for questions, discussion, and sharing of experiences with session participants.
