Full Session Description (as long as you would like): Do our tried-and-true motivational strategies work for all children? What part does native culture play in fostering motivation for information seeking? This session will explore the presenter's research into the motivational experiences in the lives of children from an individualistic culture (Colorado Springs, CO) and those from a collectivist culture (Kampala, Uganda).
