Preservation of monuments, buildings, things of artistic value and protection of ecology

Buildings in Kerala are of hertitage value and it is being wantonly destroyed and making new concrete constructions for modernity and fashion. In olden days, houses were made of wood and living there in is very comfortable and healthy. Concrete buildings as against wooden buildings create heat and are unhealthy. Moreover, in case of earth quake, wooden buildings does not bring forth much havoc. We conduct seminars, workshops, visiting old buildings and taking census of these buildings and monuments in and around Kerala. Wooden buildings last several centuries whereas modern buildings have a short span of life.
We spread awareness of heritage and eco-sensitive living and preservation of heritage buildings through connecting students here with students abroad so that this kind of damage shall not happen anywhere on the globe.
