Short Session Description (one line):
Rainwater catchment and Practivism - students and communities engaged with real projects and solutions.
Full Session Description (as long as you would like):
This session will described students and community members engaging to build better solutions through rainwater collection. Come hear how the brilliance and creativity of multi-generational and international partnerships bring about resilient community solutions. Together we will take examples from the US, Mexico, and Dominican Republic and explore how to implement this in your school, your community, or through international engagements. Also expect a lively discussion on why the desire to 'help' might not be the best reason to work internationally.
Excited for this. I will be presenting on Wednesday, November 15, 12pm – 1pm PST (3pm EST). Let me know if you have any questions or what me to cover anything in particular related to rainwater and/or practivism.
