World Savvy is recruiting volunteers for the 2019 World Savvy Festival! Join this energetic day as a volunteer to help celebrate and center the work of youth in our communities.

If you are new to World Savvy, here is some more information about our work.

Part pep rally, part global summit, the World Savvy Festival is an annual culminating event for middle and high school students participating in the World Savvy Classrooms program. The day long event brings students from different schools together to share and get feedback on their research and action plans to address global issues that have local impacts. Here is a glimpse into a past festival.

Tuesday, April 30 at Hamline University, Saint Paul

Thursday, May 23 at Mills College, Oakland, CA

This year, the theme for the festival is Breaking Barriers. Students have been researching educational inequities, pollution, teen suicide and mental health, human trafficking, Black Lives Matter, food deserts, and more.

Visit www.worldsavvy.org/volunteer for more information and to register!

We hope to see you there!
