Our table represents a diverse range of roles (including a high school student) and geography. Our discussions centered around the idea of finding ways to explicitly involve students in their education by asking them what they care about. Specifically, the idea we generated was:

Systematically find ways to ask students what they care about, structure opportunities for teachers to collaborate to incorporate these interests/their voice into learning experiences, and partner with parents to explain the important of this process. When students' interests intersect with the broader community (local and/or global), the power of positive community impact can be at play as well.

Similarly our table focused on student interest and strengths.  Our thought process was arount technology and art.
