Dear GEC Volunteers,

Thank you for volunteering to help with the 9th annual Global Education Conference! We appreciate your help and hope that you are as excited as we are about this year's event. 

Here's important information for you:

1. This is our main group where will post relevant information. It is linked on our site in several places or you can bookmark this link: https://www.globaleducationconference.org/group/gecvolunteers. 
2. You will be receiving more details from Steve Hargadon this week about signing up to moderate sessions, so watch for his message soon. We try to have a moderator assigned to each session. People can sign up in advance and we also issue calls for moderators periodically during the conference as needed. We have a volunteer virtual lounge where this will happen. Again, Steve will provide more details shortly.
3. We will be asking for a few "supermoderators" to oversee larger chunks of time, particularly during hours that fall in the US nighttime. Email Steve if you are interested in helping in this role at hargadon@gmail.com.

Steve and I think that you will find volunteering to be a fun way to get to know other members of our community while attending sessions at the same time. We will have certificates available for you towards the end of the conference.
