This space was created to continue the conversation about collaborative global education projects that began in the Global Education Welcome and Convocation session.
We asked you the following questions:
What do you want to do?
How will you accomplish this?
What help do you need from the community?
And here's what you said...
Teachers need to have contacts and the technology to make the connections with other teachers all over the world so that our students can communicate with one another.
Training, funding for technology, ongoing support and ideas
There should be programs available for students in schools to travel to a different country!
I think it would be great if there was a central database of student travel opportunities. Maybe this already exists and I just don’t know about it?
I was never as passionate about global education as I am now until I actually visited schools in another country. I want all students and educators to have this opportunity.
Students need support and safe connections
Scholarships for student travel
From the community, we would need support for fundraisers when students go to other countries!
Online capabilities for teachers and students
We can accomplish this by having connections with organizations who do global outreach!
Please use this group to continue collaborating, inspiring your peers in global education, and leading action in your communities.
