About Me or Reason for Joining the GEC:
I am a creative learning strategist who facilitates strategic planning and visioning. I am a writer, speaker, keynoter, instructional designer, coach, facilitator, and changemaker. Barbara manages and writes on my website Rethinking Learning where I host a podcast show about conversations with educators and leaders who are passionate about transforming teaching and learning. I am founder/owner of My eCoach, the co-author of Make Learning Personal and How to Personalize Learning, and was co-founder of Personalize Learning. I incorporate design thinking and Universal Design for Learning (UDL) to guide the design of learner-centered environments to create a culture of learning that develops self-directed, independent learners with agency.

I joined GEC because I am a lifelong learner. There is so much to learn from others around the world and this is the best place to learn about global projects. I am hoping to share some of the projects and strategies where students and teachers are co-designers and co-learners.
I am a:
teacher, parent, consultant, entrepreneur
