About Me or Reason for Joining the GEC:
I work for an educational nonprofit foundation whose mission is to facilitate global collaboration by providing technology (as needed) and professional development to schools both in the US and internationally. We currently have partner schools in 18 countries and I am always looking for excited teachers and administrators that are interested in providing a global collaboration experience to their students. Our program targets classes with students aged 8-14 years.

Global Education Projects Sponsored By You or That You're Involved In (if applicable):
The JDO Foundation partners teachers internationally so that they can identify co-curricular lessons/projects for collaboration. We have a long-term model where teachers and their classes communicate weekly in written form and monthly via live video conference to complete collaborative work. JDO facilitates curricular planning and supports teachers with technology and training as needed. There is no fee associated with participation in our program and we accept applications on a rolling basis.
Languages Spoken:
English is the common language for all of our collaborative projects.
