Shannon, What we ended up doing was reading fables and fairy tales and the students then decorated empty pop bottles to resemble the main character. We are new to technology here, so I do not have any of them scanned into share. I will see if I can locate a photo to show you.

Our newest project that we are starting this week is to study the history of kites and then I put my group into three teams and they will each build a different type of kite.

Hi Sharon,
It is great to connect with you! i just started a collaborative mystery project with my students. My students are working in tandem with another class in my district to solve related crimes (fictitious) that we set up in both of our building. You can see everything here:

We are also finishing a Holiday/Winter card exchange with over 48 schools and some other connections through teachers I know, so I am guessing between the two projects that will

I would be interested in collaborating, too! What is your school like? Or do you travel to several schools? Do you have ideas for collaboration?

My school is an independent school (not public or religious). We have 3 years olds through 8th graders. I teach 4th grade.
