THANK YOU!

I can’t help saying thank you very much for this exciting event. I have never received so much information and great ideas from a single conference. Despite I was not able to fully enjoy all the possibilities of the Conference because of some technical problems, all these days I have been viewing the recordings (when unable to connect), reading the posts on the blog and chat etc. It was amazing! Thank you very much!

PBL

It was an interesting session on PBL presenter Iram Sadiq, as I seldom use this to enrich my students skills and connect them with students around the world to discover common ideas and goals. i was surprised at the point of view that PBL "is better than other models of instruction", this is my belief too. I could see my students share information

Common Core Global Standards

I have attended the presentation of Mayus Chavez. It was nice one and gave an idea to how the children of different places can be engaged. And how to develop empathy among them.she gave awsome ways to create awareness on different  issues ,like we can use art as a basic tool to create awareness.I really appreciate her idea.

Part 3: An Innovative Approach to Growing Compassionate Global Citizens

How It Came Together

So now you have heard about the inspiration and the rationale behind this unique model of global education. And you’ve seen two examples: 1) A filmmaking service trip to Israel that transformed the participants, helped an Arab community in Israel and produced two films; and 2) a film and curriculum that introduces…

17th November

Yesterday I had the opportunity to join two interesting sessions during the first day of Globaledcon 2014.

The first one, on geo-education opened a hole new world of opportunities, useful resources and best practices that would definitively help us to connect contents with the real world in our classrooms, preparing our students (and I would enclose teachers also) for life in an interconnected world, and to be active and conscious citizens of the world.
