Beginning January 1, 2011 Save Our Schools and Generous Community members, supporters, and partners will increase our efforts to serve children in our schools. Sadly we have escalated from a shortage of school supplies, deferred maintenance and loss of educators to an emergency situation involving food, clothing, shelter, and the necessities of life for some of these precious children.

Stigma Associated with HIV/AIDS

The stigma associated with HIV-AIDS has resulted in persons disassociating with the disease. This can be seen in increase in HIV and newly diagnosed AIDS cases. AIDS is a sign that HIV has gone undiagnosed because of lack of care. HIV testing is an important component to the prevention of HIV/AIDS.
