This is my second GEC connection this week and today I joined two really diferent sessions:

The first one, on Global IQ , has revealed  what is this quotient, its applications and somestrategies on how to help our students to build an effective global IQ and globalizate our classrooms.

Then, I joined "Connecting Educators and Youth through Virtual Exchange Projects in the Middle East, North Africa, and U.S." and I really felt been part of a global education conference. This session has not only shared interesting international projects, contents and experiences, but has gone further  and become a live exemple of online project exchange, enganging to participate and interact  teachers from different projects and attendees. Really inspiring conference!!

I also enjoyed the conference from the convenience of my office and job in between teaching. I love to learn and interact with new people especially those of such diverse backgrounds all across the world. This was a wonderful experience and my first time being involved in a virtual conference. Thank you to all the wonderful presenters. I wish I could have attended them all!

I am an ESL Professor for Trine University in Angola, Indiana, a very small, private college, especially known for Engineering.  Most of my students are from Saudi Arabia or China.
