Thanks for the note, Lucy. I've been with The Learning Network for a little over a month now and am really enjoying it. I will share some resources and an upcoming webinar in the discussion board. Thanks!
Yep :) Actually, they're about to turn three years old this week. Names are Grace and Jack.
They kept me busy for a couple years, then I gradually started working part-time again, and now I'm consulting full-time.
It's great to be back in the global ed community - and now I have my own special two reasons for the mission of helping young people develop into good global citizens :)
It will be great if you contact me with Cristina. I can check if I can give some help.
Also, If I have time I will try to send a proposal.
Thanks in advance.

Hi Lucy.
I wonder if you could help. I've been contracted to do a background paper for the next UNESCO Global Monitoring Report on SDG 4.7 and how teacher education (including ITE and CPD) supports global learning. I'm wanting to use the GEC as example of CPD / teacher support and wonder if I could ask you a couple of questions about the network. If you are interested please email me on: f.hunt@ucl.ac.uk
This is indeed amazing. I must admit internet is no more of stranger than we used to be in the late 2000's. From the devices to tablets to Computers or notebooks, everyone craves to be on a social media network. No wonder telecommunication companies likeOrange, Airtel or MTN have been letting their users get access to this service. So it would be fair to say most Ugandans especially elite, youths, town dwellers and few in the villages are connected on the internet.
However the issue of internet speeds still remains.
All generally said...we are good to go and crave for those speeds...The Sky is the Limit when you are connected!

Thank you for the opportunity to present at this year's GEC. I believe we were both at this year's Google Summit at GBN, but I didn't get a chance to talk to you. I love working with Judi! Glad to hear we have so many common connections. I enjoy following you on twitter!
I was confused simply because it is so difficult to surf and follow all the instruction! Just due to the site is always slow or busy.... But I could manage it...
Hello Lucy - our apologies. Our intention is not meant to be commercial and we pass on our educational tips and blogs to many in various education areas. At Amazing People Club we do have an educational page with tips for teachers if you would like to view that and every month we have a free download of a featured historical person. http://www.amazingpeopleclub.com/education. Sincerely, Janine on behalf of the team at Amazing People Club

Yes Lucy, it's great to disseminate educational values through such state of the arts technology. More grease to your elbow.
