As the District Coordinator of 21st Century Learning for the ten Qatar Foundation Schools, my philosophy is to leverage 21CL skills to innovate teaching and learning practices and effectively implement projects with PMP strategies and tools. In conjunction with my District team, we empower our learners to be active participant in their own intellectual development with an emphasis in reaching a level of technology proficiency and academic readiness for college, career, and life. My innovative initiatives advised to our Executive Director of the nine Qatar Foundation Schools (two new schools opening in the upcoming years) are research-based as I am Expert Panel member of the worldwide New Media Consortium Horizon Report K-12 for 2015 and 2016, the Horizon Report 2016 Technology Outlook: International Schools of Asia.
My educational international experience includes roles as an ICT educator, tech coach, and leadership roles as e-learning coordinator, IT Coordinator, (PowerSchool and Administrator's Plus) and Director of IT in international schools in South America, Asia, and the Middle East. I have served on school strategic planning committees, as well as accreditation steering committees for WASC, AdvancedED, SACS and AASSA. I have extensive experience working and participating in Senior Administrative Teams with leadership and relationship building training from Harvard Graduate School of Education (Certification) and Adaptive Schools.
