Established partnership with Asylum Access, a 501c(3) organization in Bangkok, Thailand that provides legal services to refugees by supporting them in securing access to their rights to employment, healthcare, education and safety and advocates for laws to improve the lives of refugees. Asylum Access staff provide my Roger Williams University students in my Global Migration course with a Skype presentation to help students develop an understanding of how the organization fosters legal empowerment, policy reform and global systems change.
